State Map Overview
|
The Highway and Transportation Map
welcome visitors to our state by showcasing Georgia’s network of roadways and
popular destinations. From the picturesque views of the North Georgia
Mountains to the hot and muggy marshland found on our coast, the Georgia
highway map serves as a guide for travelers wanting to explore our beautiful
state. Photos from all over Georgia have been placed on the map to provide
tourists with a visual depiction of our history, culture and popular
attractions. For residents there is a sense of pride that comes along with
seeing the beauty of their communities displayed on the map.
This year Georgia DOT is giving you the opportunity to become a part of
this process, by sending us a photo that best captures your community and/or
congressional district. You can aid our effort in showing off the true
splendor that Georgia has to offer. The state map is sent out to travelers
all across the nation. This is your chance to show the entire country why 8
million people call Georgia home.
